How do I open a checking account?
You’ll need to be a Great Plains member, which starts with a $25 Regular Savings deposit. Then open any checking account in branch or by phone. Online membership through MeridianLink launches September 15th.
Do I get a debit card?
Yes — every checking account comes with a free Great Plains debit card. Use it at any ATM, point-of-sale, or worldwide. Manage it through the Card Suite Lite app.
What's the difference between Regular and Money Market?
Regular Checking earns interest on $500+ and charges a monthly fee below that. Money Market earns more on higher balances ($2,500+) but limits you to six transactions per month.
